Quadra FNX

The Wahnapitae First Nation has entered into an Impact Benefit Agreement (IBA) with Quadra FNX.  The IBA outlines the relationship and intent to work together to address opportunities and concerns related to Quadra FNX Mining activity.

Quadra FNX/WFN Implementation Committee (IC)

The Quadra Implementation Committee oversees the implementation of the Impact and Benefit Agreement (IBA).  The Environmental Committee and Human Resources Committee report to the Implementation Committee.  The Quadra FNX/WFN Implementation Committee consists of:

1. Peter Recollet, Wahnapitae First Nation
2. Hans Matthews, Wahnapitae First Nation
3. Pat Lewis, Quadra FNX
4. Sarah Provincial, Quadra FNX

Quadra FNX/WFN Environmental Committee (EC)

The Quadra FNX/WFN Environmental Committee has been developed to review the environmental impacts and opportunities associated with the mining industry activities of Quadra FNX.  Together, Quadra FNX and Wahnapitae First Nation review, identify and mitigate any potential effects to the environment or traditional territory of Wahnapitae First Nation related to the mining activity of Quadra FNX.

The EC recognizes the importance of relationship building and continuously works together to discuss mutual projects that ensure the natural environment is minimally impacted by the Quadra FNX mining industry operating within the WFN traditional territory.

The Quadra FNX/WFN Environmental Committee consists of:

The Quadra FNX/WFN Human Resources Committee

The Quadra FNX/WFN Human Resources Working Group has been developed to examine the human resource capacities and opportunities related to the Quadra FNX mining industry activity occurring within the Wahnapitae First Nation Traditional Territory.

The Quadra FNX Human Resources Committee consists of:
