Economic Development

The Wahnapitae First Nation Economic Development Officer is responsible for the development and enhancement of economic development opportunities within the community and for community members. 

The Economic Development officer actively participates in employment and training initiatives for community members and also acts as the employment and training representatives on the FNX/WFN Human Resources Committee and the Xstrata Human Resources Committee. 

The Economic Development officer acts as a resource contact for community members interested in entrepreneurial initiatives and direct the individual in securing financing and access to business networks.
